After years of uncertainty, we identified the likely cause of some serious health issues in our family as mold in our home. Two separate inspections confirmed that our situation was pretty severe and we elected to tackle the problem head on. Enter, HomeCleanse. From start to finish they were professional and amazing to work with. Every remediation is different but here are some notes from our project. Initial Consult - Jeff came to our house for several hours to review our inspection report, discuss options and make suggestions. He did so without fear mongering (which other providers employ) and with a rational understanding that we could not simply tear our entire house down. He presented several options ranging from bare minimum to absolute maximum and then worked with us to build out a workable plan. Jeff's extensive knowledge was evident throughout the process including his diagnosis of a long standing issue in our crawlspace which has plagued us for years. Communication - Throughout the process you are in contact with a responsive team representing different departments and areas of responsibility. Our project was a huge effort and we felt supported the entire time. Once the work commences you have access to a portal where everything is documented with extensive pictures and updates. Project Kick Off - The day our project started, the site manager Carlos spent about an hour walking through the house with me, answering questions and making sure we were on the same page with everything. We moved out of our house that day for more than two weeks. I felt confident and informed the entire time. The whole team was readily available to answer questions or coordinate controlled access to the home when needed. Quality of Work - Have you ever had work done in your home where you question how hard the contractors work or how much they cared? Our experience with HomeCleanse was the exact opposite of that. The work crew did an incredible job. We had a lot of basement and crawl space work and it is simply not possible for it to have been done even 1% better. The transformation was incredible. Professionalism - Similar to the quality of work question above, have you ever felt taken by a contractor who did work at your house? Again, the exact opposite is the case with HomeCleanse. They earned every penny and then some. They are a top notch, legitimate business doing things the right way and providing amazing service. There is no level of recommendation too high based on our experience. If we were to ever need any additional work, I would not even consider going with anyone other than HomeCleanse. After assessing the situation, he actually told us that remediation wasn't necessary and gave us detailed instructions on what to do instead. He did all of this (filter change and shower situation) free of charge.
